Published April 9, 2010 at 10:37 a.m.
ATLANTA (AP) Journalist Christiane Amanpour will speak at Georgia State University's graduation ceremony next month.

Amanpour, a longtime CNN correspondent, will speak at the May 15 ceremony at the Georgia Dome in downtown Atlanta. Amanpour has worked for CNN for the last two decades, becoming one of the networks best-known personalities with her reports from war zones from Iraq to Somalia.

She was recently named the host of ABC's Sunday morning political talk show ``This Week,'' replacing George Stephanopoulos. She has won awards including a Television Academy Honor, nine Emmys, four George Foster Peabody Awards and an Edward R. Murrow award.
