Radiohead's Phil Selway to release debut LP

OMG! I just got an email from Radiohead drummer Phil Selway! And I didn't even know we were friends! But I guess we must've met at a party or something a while back, because he sure seems to know me. "I just wanted to let you know what I've been up to recently in my idle moments in Radiohead," he writes. OK, Phil, I'll bite. What have you been up to?

Turns out ol' Phil is set to release his debut solo album, Familial. I know what you're thinking - drummers should stick to drumming and leave the songwriting to the real stars, right? But Phil, like his band, is a total envelope-pusher. Below, check out "By Some Miracle", a song from the album, which you can also download for free at his website. Familial comes out August 30, but is available for preorder now.
