Dad Charged in Son's Death

(WSB Radio) -- A Decatur father has been charged with murder in the death of his 5 year old son.

In addition, Gary DeToma Sr., 41, is accused to trying to kill his other son, 4.

Investigators tell WSB they had gone to a home on East Lake Drive Monday after getting a complaint that two children had not returned home from a weekend visit with their father. Nobody answered the door.

Later, police say they returned to the home after a co-worker of DeToma called.

Police declined to give details of the childs death.

DeToma is being held without bond at the DeKalb County jail, as the investigation continues.
