South Ga. Man Shoots Wife, Kids in Murder-Suicide

BLAKELY, Ga. (AP) Authorities say an Early County man shot his wife and two children before turning the gun on himself.

Mark Pro with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation says 37-year-old Matthew Lowell Justice shot his wife, 36-year-old Amy Lynn Justice, and their two children late Friday night.

Matthew Justice was pronounced dead at the scene and his wife was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Their 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter, whose names weren't released, were taken to Southeast Alabama Medical Center. The boy was on life support and the girl was treated and released.

Pro said authorities had not determined a motive for the shootings.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the sheriff's office are investigating.
