Keywords:(WSB Radio) -- Former University of Georgia athletics director Damon Evans exchanged about 250 text messages with the woman who was in the car with him when he was arrested, according to cell-phone records released by UGA Friday.
Those records show Evans and Courtney Fuhrmann, 28, sentĀ four texts around 9 a.m. July 1st, the morning after they were arrested in Atlanta. Evans was charged with DUI. Furman was arrested for disorderly conduct.
EvansĀ also called Fuhrmann on July 1st, about an hour after he held a news conference in Athens. The conversations lasted a total of eight minutes.
The records released earlier show a May 21 e-mail from Fuhrmann to Evans. That e-mail indicated they met on May 20, about six weeks before the arrest that led to Evans' resignation.
